It Is Raining Kittens and Puppies

Joyce Coder - Wellspring's Better HalfIt’s not really raining hard but it is not misting either. Susan Cochran and Alisha Gribble have gotten their wish. Can you believe it (they were on Well Drilling Team No. 1 – my original team – I am ashamed.) they were praying against this team?! Evil twins they are, praying that would rain, snow and be cold so that this team of all guys could be punished.
The drill site is going to be an ice skating rink combined with mud wrestling pit and it is most likely that we are going to be wet, cold and nasty by the end of the day. We are praying for the rain to break while we are at church but it will take a miracle of God to have the site dry up.
This team doesn’t know it yet but it is about day three of training that the mystique goes away and reality sets in – everyone may not know this job and it might be cool to learn but then it becomes real work.
Here’s a big “Heidi Ho!” going out to Eric Miller – my dear friend – thanks for all of the text messages and encouragement. To my kids who cheered me up well last night – “Kudos” – it was great talking to you guys. It is hard to be away again so close to the last trip but I keep in mind that we will soon stand up on a fresh, clean, good water slab and tell people, “Let me tell you about the Living Water that is clean, cleans and makes it so that you will never be thirsty again.”
For those who are interested, the team is doing well. It is definitely a guy team and because it is, it has its own spiritual challenges. So go the men, so go the world – it is true.
More later, I hope you all have a great morning at church.
