It's a Well!

It is a first! Well Drilling Team No. 2 has benefited from the expertise and class of Well Drilling Team No. 1 and today reamed and capped off Well No. 2 with a pump.  It was a training well but nonetheless the process is complete.

Our team moved to a new site and with increasing expertise began a new site and got one stem of pipe in the ground.  Everyone wanted to keep working but Bob's and my experience refused us to be swayed.  We quit at 4:30 and are now getting ready for showers and dinner.  Our missions teams - especially the new ones - are very eager beavers and ready to work more and more but you need to rest.  You need to make it through the full mission trip whether it is four days or fourteen.  Everyone got up slower today and will struggle even tomorrow as they get ready to go home.

So we should leave about 3:30 EST and arrive home before the kids get to bed.  In the meantime, we still need your prayers as we work five hours tomorrow and then breakdown, have class, debriefing and drive home.  Wouldn't it be good if they hit another aquifer?  Why do I say they?  I am the trainer now and it is really funny to listen to Bob correct me as I confuse people but I have learned more than I can say.  Thank God for his grace!

Here's to all of you from all of us!

P.S. The team found their groove today with Andy as Lead Driller, Ron as Assistant, Daniel as Analyst and Tim in the Pit.  Like the other team they are all capable with each job but this is a great combination.  Check out the pictures.
