Live It

Before you pray,
First forgive all those who have offended you.
Then pray.
Only then will your prayers rise up
Into the presence of God.

True leaders will rarely provide a following leader with the privilege that such a leader will not provide to his own followers. He who wishes a privilege that he is not willing to grant to others is a fool. True leaders will not ask for that which they do not give.

There are no special rules for leaders, no extras because they have risen to the top. Leaders live the example to their followers and, if anything, their life is more difficult because they sacrifice to lead and bear the burden of those who follow them.

Will we live in a hut so our people can live in a house or will they live in huts to buy our house? Will we work longer so our people can rest or will they work long hours so that we can rest? Will we live excellent moral lives so our people can rejoice or will we expect their character to suffice for our lack?

Jesus died on a cross so that we could live in a mansion.
